All batteries are connected in series with
the batteries in the compartment under the seat via the cables A .. C. The NiCads are not maintenance free and must be regurarely replenished with purified water. To ease water refilling all batteries are connected in series with specially adapted tubes B. A piece of ordinary garden hose is connected to the water inlet of the first battery and a similar hose is used to drain excess water from the last battery. The wire D is one of the sensing wires to the car controller. |
